First Vietnamese-Australian football club 'challenges stereotypes' and combats 'loss of tradition'

 In South-Western Sydney, it's not surprising to see Vietnamese Australians kicking the "round ball" in a park.

However, it wasn't until October 2020 that the first Vietnamese-Australian soccer club was established, despite a long tradition of 'the world game' in Vietnam dating back to the late 19th century.

Club founder Vu Tran says it was a testament to the community that the club was formed.
